Created by John Hart, a long time photographer and 3D enthusiast, MirScope manufactures and provides tools for the 3D photographer. MirScope’s viewers were featured in the Nov-Dec 2006 issue of StereoWorld magazine. Through this site, we sell MirScope viewers as well as 3D photography books. Purchased together, MirScope books and viewers are sure to amaze your friends and family!
Overview
MirScope viewers* offer incredibly easy 3D viewing without sacrificing image quality as so many print-based viewing solutions have. You can look at large, highly-detailed images and be fully immersed in each scene. The simple one-mirror design makes it easy for anyone to experience the depth and beauty of 3D photography. Because the MirScope viewers accept stacks of individual print-pairs, as well as comb-bound books, they are ideal for 3D photographers wishing to display their stereo art. Each viewer ships with everything you need to view printed large-format stereo photographs like never before!
We have developed two versions of our 3D viewer: the Exhibition ViewerTM and the Personal ViewerTM. The Exhibition viewer (available Spring 2007) holds 13" x 19" images and was developed for galleries and art museums. The Personal viewer is geared towards 3D enthusiasts and photographers and handles images up to 8.5" x 11" in size. With it, you can display your own work, as well as works from other photographers, in your own home, without the high expense associated with making slides from digital files, or cumbersome and expensive digital projection.
Some Features of MirScope Viewers
- Unparalleled 3D depth and immersion not available with other viewers.
- Unrivalled resolution, clarity, and color.
- Easy to use with self-made prints.
- Prints can be bound into a 3D book which can be viewed like a traditional 2D art book.

Stereoscopic Art
Art books containing stereo photographs from the world’s leading 3D photographers are available in the MirScope format. Please visit our Stereo Books page for more information. With the MirScope format, an active stereo photographer can print and assemble a book of stereo images that have incredible clarity and depth when viewed with the MirScope. A collector will be able to view printed stereoscopic images from a number of artists producing materials for much higher resolution display than can be had with traditional stereocards.
